Octava Bassa Malbec 2013
Sensuality that recalls the wealth of serious records born of two creators moved by intertwined passions: Marcelo Pelleriti, winemaker and musician and Pedro Aznar, musician and sommelier.
Grape: 100% Malbec
Location of the Vineyards: Tunuyan, Valle de Uco, Mendoza at a height of 1100 m above sea level
Soil: Loam of alluvial origin with an increasing proportion of gravel in the basement.
Harvest: Manual in small (12kg) plastic boxes.
Selection: System of double tape band selection.
Vinification: In 225-litre French oak barrels. 8 degrees C cold maceration for 10 to 15 days. Rotation of barrels and manual pigeage.
Aged: 16 months in French oak barrels. Rests in bottles for six months.
Temperature: Serve between 14-16 degrees C
