Hailing from the legendary Mendoza region of Argentina, this treasure of a Malbec is bold yet approachable. Its deep blue-violet hue is accompanied with a palate of cocoa, black plum, and oak - perfect for the everyday bold red wine drinker. The tannins finish long and dry, making it an excellent pairing alongside Argentinian BBQ cuisines such as fatty cuts of grilled beef drizzled in chimichurri. The Family
We are a family that is deeply rooted in the winemaking industry, with over 80 years of experience.
Vineyards
The vineyards where we obtain our wine are located at the foothills of the Andes, where sunlight is intense, soils are heterogeneous, and the climate is cool. This allows us to obtain a high-quality product both in young wines and wines with aging potential.
Winemaking
Classic, with selected yeast and temperature control at 23-28 degrees C, 20 days maceration, and natural malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes
Color: Deep red with very intense violet shades; clean and shiny
Aroma: Complex aroma of berry; cherry, plum, and raspberry flavor stand out as they combine with wood notes, especially chocolate and vanilla
Mouth: Unctuous with ripe tannins; very well-balanced, good astringency and acidity
Pairing
It is an ideal companion for red meat, game, and hard cheeses. Serve at 16-18 degrees C.

Bold black fruit aromas come with a light blanket of oak. On the palate, this feels lively and juicy, making it food-friendly. Dark plum, blackberry and mild spice flavors finish with a jolt of acidity. While this delivers nothing unusual or riveting, it's a surefire Malbec for drinking now.

Bright medium ruby. Slightly medicinal aromas of black cherry, blackberry and licorice. Sweet, juicy and concentrated if a bit inky and lacking in nuance. Finishes nicely pliant, though, with a firm dusting of tannins and good length. Offers the easiest drinkability of the Los Haroldos wines I sampled this year and an attractive balance.
