First cultivated by Romans, then crafted by Monks, and ultimately coveted by Dukes and Duchesses, French Burgundy is always elegant and subtle. This set includes the 2021 Justin Girardin Bourgogne, produced by a 13th generation winemaker, from 50 year-old vines. This wine is full of savory flavors, reminiscent of Autumn, and would be perfect for roasted poultry and root veggies.


In the new world, Oregon State has made a reputation for itself by crafting Pinots that share some traits with Burgundy but are typically more fruit forward and "American" in attitude. The 2022 Alexana Pinot Noir "Terroir Series" is like a bouquet of purple flowers with a dense, smoldering core of raspberry. This is the kind of wine you drink on its own, as dessert, or maybe even the meal itself... rated 96 by International Wine Report and 92 by Vinous.
