Achaval Ferrer Wines: A Mendoza Winery Takeover
In the foothills of Argentina’s Andes Mountains, Achaval Ferrer has built its reputation on something extraordinary: protecting the land and allowing the vineyards to tell their own stories.
Founded in 1998, the winery’s heritage is rooted in historic Mendoza vineyards, including plantings dating back to 1910, 1921, 1923, and 1950.
These treasured old vines have helped define the winery’s philosophy: respect the terroir, prioritize naturally low yields, and intervene as little as possible so the character of each vineyard shines through.
Combining the expressive fruit of the New World with Old World elegance and balance, Achaval Ferrer has earned international acclaim for wines that celebrate Mendoza’s exceptional growing conditions.
That commitment to quality extends beyond the winery’s renowned Malbecs. Its Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and innovative blends offer a compelling opportunity to experience the depth and diversity of Mendoza through one producer.
And for three days, you can explore that winemaking heritage for less than $10 a bottle.
