Charme de Loire Sauvignon Blanc 2018

History and Terroir
Symbolic of the Loire Valley, Sauvignon Blanc is a grape which is particularly fond of temperate areas. Grown in clay-limestone soil, it shows a beautiful balance between liveliness, smoothness, and aromatic power.

Vinification
We vinify our wines in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and age them 3-4 months on the fine lees produced by fermentation. At the end of fermentation, a first tasting is carried out to assess the particular characteristics of the vintage. After a careful selection of the wines, we carry out the clarification, stabilization, and bottling operations in the Domaine.

Tasting
This wine is complex and elegant with a typical character of white flowers and boxwood on the nose. It is fruity on entry to the palate, where it is fresh and well-balanced. This wine possesses elegance and personality.

Food Matches
Food-wine matching is important. A successful pairing turns a meal into a hospitable and enjoyable occasion. Served between 8-10 degrees C, this Sauvignon will pair well with seafood salad, shellfish, or white meat.
