How Do Virtual Tasting Work?
Can I choose a theme for my tasting?
You can select from any theme of wines we have available in inventory. We recommend 2-3 wines per tasting. Common themes include comparing Old World vs. New World, varietals from different terroirs, vertical vintage tasting, and different varietals of a country/region.
How can I personalize my tasting even further?
Please contact us at wines@wtso.com to add culinary options to your tasting. From curated pairings to cooking classes, we are happy to help make it an unforgettable experience. We've done chocolate and wine, live cooking demos, and more... the possibilities are endless!
Attendees live in various states. How will shipping work?
Yes! We can ship wine across the United States, except MI, MS, KY, UT, SD, AR, and PR. For everyone to receive them by the tasting date, we recommend allowing at least 7 business days for delivery.
How can I book a private virtual tasting?
If you are hosting your own tasting among friends and/or family, everyone can purchase from the personalized URL in your confirmation email! If you'd like a guided tasting with a wine expert, select that option at the top and fill out of the form.
Who hosts the virtual guided tastings?
We work with wine experts around the country. Many of them have curated tasting sets for us through Weekly Tasting. Visit our YouTube channel for a preview of what information you can learn in a guided tasting. Of course, private tastings offer interactive opportunities!
