Description
The name of this wine comes from a vineyard located on the rocky ground next to an old onyx cave near Gesualdo. The stones that are extracted from this cave are yellow and with particular blue streaks that suggested the name Blu Onyx.

You don't notice the sumptuous blackberries and elderberries at first, because they're hiding behind an array of lightly toasted herbs and spices. The full-bodied palate is also more held-back than you might expect, as firm, steely tannins and meandering acidity cut a sleek form.
