The Wine
Encantado, which means "charmed" or "enchanted" in Spanish, epitomizes this elegant, inviting Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit comprising this wine was blended from a combination of select blocks in the esteemed Atlas Peak appellation of the Napa Valley. Decadent and powerful, this Cabernet exhibits complexity and excellent structure and is a beautiful representation of its appellation.

The Winemaking
Fruit for this bottling was carefully selected and sorted before the press, and following a ten-day fermentation, underwent extended maceration to achieve the finest extraction of flavor possible. The wine was then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels prior to bottling.

The Taste Profile
This enticingly vibrant Cabernet delights the nose with the bright aromas of cherry cough drop, vanilla, and roasted coffee beans that continue through the plush palate, filled with baking spices and briary fruit. Fine, silky tannins provide balance on the lasting, red fruit-filled finish of this charming wine.
