Galicia, fiercely independent and with a famously epicurean-centered culture, possesses a deep commitment to its viticultural heritage. These regional conditions paved the way for El Brazo's 2020 Albarino, fermented in stainless steel to capture the naturally fresh, crisp taste of grapes grown near the Minho River along the border with Portugal. This dry, medium-bodied Spanish white is right at home on a table with baked rainbow trout, olives, peasant bread, and a selection of cheeses and charcuterie.

The Rias Baixas Denomination of Origin (in Galicia, Spain) is located in the parish of Arbo in "Tea County," which stretches along the right bank of the River Mino. Vineyards have an extension of 45 hectares of the different Galician varieties: Albarino, Treixadura, Loureiro.
Winemaking Process
After a rigorous selection in the vineyard, the grapes arrive at the winery in approximately 16- to 20-kg plastic boxes. They are placed on a selection table, where staff from the bodega discard unwanted grape bunches. The alcohol ferments in stainless tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 degrees C. Once fermentation is complete, all the wines are decanted to separate the lees. The wine is carried out in various tanks where it is stabilized by cooling, filtered, then bottled. Sending it through an amicrobian filter ensures the wine is preserved to perfection in the bottle.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow, bright. Clean with good intensity, tropical fruit aromas (pineapples and passion fruit), citrus, creamy, and slightly grassy. It is palatable, fruity, and fresh in the mouth with balanced, good acidity and a dry ending. A clean finish in which nasal aromas again appear.

The 2020 El Brazo Albarino is bright and lively, with white peach, citrus, smoke and mineral notes. This has just the right amount of acidity making this very fresh and crisp. This is a gorgeous wine that would be great with shellfish or other light dishes.
