Backstage Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is from our Encore Vineyard (Napa Valley) located in Rutherford, Napa Valley - one of the world's finest growing areas for Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The grapes for our Backstage Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon were hand-picked at just one ton per acre at optimal ripeness on October 3rd. The result is soft, elegant, dark fruit flavors with moderate tannins. The wine showcases aromas of black currant and violet. Wonderfully balanced and structured to improve over the next 7-10 years. There are also interesting flavors of blackberry and black cherry, exciting the palate. The finish is rich and lasting.
