Vineyard: Clouds Rest Vineyard, 3'x3' spacing, 12,000 vines on 2.6 acres, 1300' elevation, low vigor rootstock

Vinification
Harvested in cool morning and destemmed into 1-ton fermenters, with 10% whole-cluster prior to destemming the must. Eight- to ten-day cold soak at 50 degrees F, punched down two times per day. Native alcoholic fermentation to dryness then pressed to barrel for native malolactic fermentation. 50% new Sirugue French oak barrels, 50% once-filled Sirugue, for a total barrel time of 18-20 months.
