Winemaker's Notes
Coming from a small vineyard of 5 hectares, Chateau Lamarzelle Cormey is a grand cru that can be enjoyed two or three years after the harvest. It brings out the typical character of the appellation, with ripe fruit aromas, soft tannins, and well-integrated oak.

History
Each generation of the family has enlarged the estate. In 2004 we bought Chateau Lamarzelle Cormey, which had been farming under contract since 1978. Since then, Victor and Coraline, the fourth generation of the Moreaud family, have taken over the estate.

When to Taste
A bottle to enjoy as an aperitif, pairs with a plate of cold cuts or a good farmhouse bread and a piece of Comte cheese.

Tasting Notes
A fruity wine, fresh, with a garnet color, well-integrated tannins, a taste of licorice, and subtly oaked.

Vinification
Produced in small quantities from a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, aged 50% in barrel and 50% in tank.

Blackberries, blueberries, orange peel and flowers on the nose. Medium body and firm tannins with a dusty feel. Juicy Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Give it time to open. Better after 2024.
