Vinification
Manual selective harvest, crushing and destemming, fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, maceration on the skins, with daily pumping of the must over the cap.

Aging
Aged for 62 months, at least 18 of which in casks of Slavonian oak, then in bottle.

Winemaker's Notes
Elegant structure, lingering bouquet packed with spices, and hints of licorice. Full, sumptuous character, velvety, with plenty of tannins.

Rich, spicy red fruit on the nose, following through to a full-bodied palate with a dense, almost thick texture. The tannins are soft and viscous and push through the long finish, carrying all the flavor with them. Flavorful and nice to drink now, but will continue to age nicely, too.
