From Italian Roots to California Excellence

In 1895, a young Italian couple arrived in Sonoma County with big dreams and a deep love for the land. They planted Zinfandel vines in the rolling hills, creating a foundation for their family’s future. Over the years, those vines survived storms, droughts, and even prohibition. Through it all, the Seghesio family’s dedication never wavered.

Zinfandel, the Only True American Grape

Zinfandel is often called “America’s grape.” Although its roots trace back to Croatia, it became a symbol of perseverance in the New World. The grape arrived in the 19th century and thrived in California’s vineyards. Despite challenges, it adapted and flourished.

Seghesio Saini Farms Zinfandel 2021

This wine offers a sensory adventure. Its aroma combines bright and earthy notes, with hints of cherry cola and blackberry pie. On the palate, it delivers bold intensity and silky, dense fruit flavors. Dark chocolate shavings, star anise, and raspberry add layers of complexity. Seghesio Todd Brothers Zinfandel 2021
