Winemaker's Notes
Be careful; this wine is a monster. Steep slopes and poor soil make retaining water in these vineyards very difficult. The result is smaller berries, which means more skin to juice ratio. The skin is where the compounds responsible for color and mouthfeel are found, and this wine has plenty of both. These vineyards also sit high on Rockpile Ridge, above the fog line, where the sun shines more often, making it warmer. This dries out the fruit just enough to intensify the flavors of cherry, strawberry jam, and chocolate, highlighted with hints of vanilla and black currant.

Winemaker's Notes
2010 proved that picking at the right time is crucial. Lucky for us, we hit the nail on the head. Our fruit came off the vines ripe and ready to produce this mouth bomb of a wine. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes exuberate flavors of cherry, plum, blackberry, and boysenberry, while our Cabernet Franc spices it up with a bit of white pepper, sage, cherry cola. After blending the two, a few splashes of this and a splash of that, I think we put together one of the most food-friendly Cabernets Sauvignons Sonoma County has to offer. Enjoy this wine with dinner or just over a few laughs. This wine will not disappoint on any occasion.

Winemaker's Notes
Our location high up on the Glockner-Turner hillside proved to be extremely beneficial in 2011. The extra sun exposure and drier climate helped get our fruit ripe and off the vine well before things got ugly with the early rains in 2011. This Cabernet is fruit-driven with dark berry tones, like blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by chocolate and five-spice character. Soft vanilla oak aromas help create an enchanting nose profile. Plenty of structure for age-ability, but this wine is drinking great now and sure to pair well with barbequed flank steak. The long-lasting finish makes it a perfect after-dinner wine as well.

Varietal Breakdown: 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot
Cooperage Breakdown: 24-month aging, 40% new oak, 100% French
Winemaker's Notes
Aged to perfection, this wine is bursting upfront with blackberry, cherry, and spice aromas. The palate is layered with earth tones, bright fruit, dark fruit, and a smooth black currant finish. It hits home with plenty of weight that will go great with the richness of a juicy center cut of red meat. This is a great wine to open early or decant while putting the finishing touches on your meal. The steep slopes of Rockpile grow thick-skinned fruit with plenty of natural tannins, allowing wines from this region to age beautifully without a heavy influence of oak. Showcasing a greater sense of terroir with its underlying earth tones from the rocky soils.

Winemaker's Notes
In 2013 we were blessed with a stunning growing season in Sonoma County. An abundance of sunshine and prolonged hang time for grapes on the vine helped produce this rich, lush, and bold Cabernet Sauvignon. Full of dark fruit tones such as black currant, candied cherries, and blackberry jam, this wine has a large mouthfeel with plenty of natural tannins to create an extremely age-worthy wine! Rockpile, known for its elevation and soil content, provides great complexity with natural mineral tones that evolve from the first sip to the last. This wine was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, which helped create the subtle vanilla and cocoa tones you'll find drifting up your glass.
