Winemaking Details
Vinification: Cryomaceration in steel vats before fermentation with the skins for 12 to 16 days. Temperature is controlled between 24 to 29 degrees C. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
Aging: In French and Austrian oak (2,500L) for 24 months

Tasting Notes
Ruby color on a soft red base. It's characterized by notes of petals and wild strawberries. In the mouth, it's persistent and silky, with a rich, slightly acidic but fragrant extraction. Its alcohol amplifies, without mistake, remarkable notes of flower and dry herbs.

This is a balanced and fresh Nebbiolo with a more accessible personality that suits it very nicely, especially if paired with one of the rich meat sauces and pasta dishes that are typical of Piedmont's regional cuisine. Red-cherry and walnut-shell character to this rather racy Barolo, at least until it hits the barrier of firm tannin towards the end. Medium-bodied and delicately poised at the moment. Needs a little bottle time to gain some depth and complexity. Try from 2023.
