Wine Details
The 2014 is a very different wine. It is a single vineyard Clone 7 Cabernet from Stags Leap. The aging was done in French oak barrels, with 40% new oak. The grapes were harvested on the 15th of September, 2014, and the finished wine was then aged in the French oak for 21 months before being bottled at the end of July, 2016.

Tasting Notes
The 2014 Ankh Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon shows some restraint for the vintage, with currant, walnut, and spice aromas, medium body, and silky tannins on the finish. Soft and enticing, this wine can be enjoyed today or cellared for more complexity to develop over the next 5-7 years.
