Wild Garnacha 2019

Terroir
The vines, which produce average yields of 4,000 kgs/ha, grow on the lower slopes of the hills around the winery, where they are exposed to a fair amount of wind at 650m altitude above sea level. The average age of the vines is approximately 35 years old.

Tasting Notes
This violet-red wine displays all the character of the Grenache grape variety, with intense fruity flavors and aromas such as sweet strawberry, raspberry, cherries, and some balsamic touch, with a bit of caramel and spices. In the mouth, we get fruit again with certain floral hints. Very good balance. Great and sweet tannins. It is refreshing, with a good touch of acidity and red fruit in the aftertaste, and with hints of aniseed. Full-flavored on the palate, zesty and refreshing, with a good balance between fruit and acidity.

Food Pairings
This wine goes particularly well with any of the wide range of vegetables grown in Navarra. Its lively and fresh character also means that it is a perfect accompaniment to all types of rice and pasta dishes. The touch of oak gives the character for pairing with grilled fish and, of course, red and white meat.
