Vintage Characteristics
Regarding the 2016 vintage, we can highlight the good alcohol content of the red wines together with very good colors. The white and rose wines had a very good aromatic intensity. Regarding the weather, the winter was rainy, the temperatures in April and May were lower than usual, which led to a delay in the vines. This was prolonged in summer due to the lack of rain. Finally, the good weather allowed a selective harvest in which the grapes were picked at their optimum moment.

Tasting Notes
Appearance: Clean, bright. Medium-high intensity. Garnet red color with russet tones at the rims.
Nose: Intense, complex. First sensation of ripe, stewed fruit. The following aromas that appear are spicy, cedar, cigar box, blond tobacco, dry grass. Balsamic.
Palate: Pleasant on the palate. Warm, well-integrated tannins. Rounded. Well-integrated acidity.
Finish: Long finish. The sweet sensation persists, with hints of roasted hazelnut.

Food Pairings
Any kind of meat. It matches with grilled or fried potatoes, mushrooms, or ham. Tasty or oily fish such as tuna or cod. Medium-aged cheese and berry desserts. Rice and all kinds of pasta.
