Tasting Notes
This 2018 Cab marks Saint Veeder's 7th vintage. This Cabernet is opaque purple in the glass. The core flavors of wild blueberry preserves, black currant, cherry, cassis, and licorice are vivid and well-defined. Aromas of violet cascade to a rich, silky finish with bright acidity and balanced tannins. This vintage is a perfect 7th-anniversary wine.

Winemaking
Of all the wines produced in Napa Valley, only about 1.30% come from the Mount Veeder Appellation, making them rare and collectible. Saint Veeder produces naturally low-yield Cab from 30-year-old vines. Grapes are hand-farmed and hand-picked. The wine is masterfully crafted by Napa Valley winemaker Jeff Fontanella.
