2022 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

The grapes for this Pinot Noir were sourced from several Sonoma Coast vineyards. The combined climatic and soil conditions of the Sonoma Coast appellation are ideal for producing exceptional Pinot Noir. This region has cool summers and shallow, well-drained soils that produce exceptional grapes. The climate, combined with state-of-the-art viticulture practices, produces small, intensely flavored berries.

Winemaking
The clusters were destemmed, and whole berries went through a cold soak for three days before the inoculation. Gentle extraction of grape flavors, tannins, and color was attained by spraying the cap twice daily during fermentation. The wine was aged in French oak for ten months.

Tasting Notes
This Pinot Noir has beautiful color, with garnet hues and aromas of red fruit, cherry, and a hint of earthy notes. The oak influence of vanilla complements flavors of ripe raspberry, cranberry, and pomegranate.
