Production
Fermentation: Fermentation and maceration, at a controlled temperature of 26-30 degrees C in steel tanks, is about 15-25 days, with intense pump-over and delestage in the first days.
Malolactic: In steel tanks
Refinement: At least 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels of various capacities, with a percentage in French oak barriques depending on the vintage. Further refinement in bottle before release.

Enjoyment
Aging Potential: 15-20 years
Tasting Notes: Intense color of rare depth and finesse. Its aromas and taste are magnificently elegant and powerful at the same time, with notes of red fruit, cherry, black cherry, currant, and raspberry, as well as well-integrated spicy notes. On the palate, it is full, round, and generous with excellent tannins.
Ideal Serving Temperature: 16-18 degrees C

The nose is iron-rich and umami, with aromas of barely-ripe cherry, fresh pencil shavings and topsoil. On the palate, a hint of orange peel accentuates the cherry element, while a bit of salted chocolate provides balance. Tannins stand firm against a tidal wave of acid.
