Tasting Notes
This 2021 Spring Mountain District Cabernet is a beautiful deep garnet-purple hue. On the palate, this wine reveals velvety tannins accompanied by flavors of ripe black fruits intermingled with hints of graphite. Wild blueberry, dark cherry, raspberry, and exotic spices. Well-structured tannins accompanied by a very broad finish full of length.

Winegrowing Notes
Spring Mountain is located above St. Helena on the eastern side of the Mayacamas, connecting with the border of Sonoma County to the north. The region gets its name from the many natural springs that mark the area. This vineyard is unique in that it is located above 1,900 feet in elevation, above the layer of fog, allowing us three extra hours of sunlight a day, and developed, beautiful grapes.

2021 Vintage
The 2021 vintage in Napa Valley for Cabernet Sauvignon has been nothing short of extraordinary. The ideal combination of warm, dry weather and balanced rainfall created the perfect conditions for the grapes to thrive. The extended growing season allowed for excellent phenolic ripeness, producing grapes with optimal flavor development and ideal sugar and acidity levels. The resulting wines showcase intense aromas of dark fruits, such as blackberries and cassis, along with layers of complexity and subtle nuances. The tannins are anticipated to be well-integrated and refined, lending structure.
