Buriano is another historic area for grape production. The sun exposure and the soil, typically rich in marl and chalk, together with luminosity, air flows, and altitude, make this area specially adapted to long and complex maturation of the grapes.

Tasting Notes
Aroma of ripe red fruit, black pepper, leather. Strong and full-bodied on the palate, yet fresh and elegant, with remarkable but at the same time smooth tannin. A powerful wine that can also be stored for long periods.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Buriano is powerful and unctuous in the glass. Inky and super-concentrated, the Buriano nevertheless retains tons of structure. Blueberry, vanillin, smoke, new leather and espresso infuse this deep, plush Tuscan Cabernet. Even with all of its intensity, the 2013 remains nuanced and full of class. What a gorgeous wine it is.
