Our Price
Hillside's single-vineyard 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a must-have for any New World Cab lover. The volcanic bedrock of Calistoga famously imparts a deep minerality to the grapes, separating these wines from the rest of the Napa Valley. Fragrant with aromas of dried lavender, earth, and mocha, the palate showcases a dark fruit profile complemented by a structured body and dry tannins. This bold and seductive offering pairs excellently alongside coffee-braised chorizo and fennel stew with white bean and tomato. Typically $125, procure your share today for just $29.99!

Winemaker Comments
Our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon was grown in a single vineyard in Calistoga, Napa Valley AVA. 2019 was an abundant vintage. We had more fruit from this block than we could fit into our Reserve wine, so our winemaker suggested we make a small amount of single-vineyard expression Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting Notes
This is a wine with aromatic intensity and depth. Weighty, with a dark fruit flavor profile. Its violet floral lift is grounded with an earthier, dark-roasted coffee aroma. It is a bit sexy and seductive, with softer, voluptuous curves drawn from the barrel ferment. You might want to turn the lights down low for the long, lingering finish. 2019 was grown with slopes ranging from 20-60%. Whole-berry fermented in French oak barrels.
