Background
Les Vignobles Foncalieu looked for a fresh and floral grape variety that could be enhanced by Languedoc terroirs, so they chose Albarino. Originally from Galicia, it has made a new home in our Puicheric vineyard where oceanic and Mediterranean influences meet, allowing it to express its full richness.

100% Albarino

Terroir
Deep soils situated between the Canal du Midi and Etang de Marseillette help preserve the grapes' freshness. Mediterranean climate with oceanic influences. Rows oriented east to west to protect the bunches from the sun. Yield of 60 hl/ha.

Vinification
A moderate reductive atmosphere helps preserve the freshness of the aromas. Pneumatic pressing. Six-day contact with the lees from the must. Cold settling. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats under temperature control.

Aging
Four months in stainless steel vats

Tasting Notes
Complex bouquet of white fruit with honey and coconut notes. Generous fruity flavors on the palate with good balance and freshness.

Pairings
Try with seared prawns, a grilled sole, or a veal blanquette. Serve chilled at 10 degrees C.
