Deep orangey pink. Quite a dramatic colour for rose champagne (I like it!). Deliciously sour-sweet and smoky - like Amarelle cherries and Seville oranges sliced and scorched lightly over coals. Tiny bubbles with a quick aggressive attack that quickly dissipates, leaving the acidity to structure the wine into the meaty, verging-on tannic finish. Something about this wine reminds me of muhammara. (TC)
