Producer Overview
"Monlot" wines is a passion project of the Chinese celebrity ZHAO Wei, who created a range representing the various Bordeaux appellations in order to share her wonderful discoveries and passion for Bordeaux's terroir with other wine lovers. Hoping to illuminate the region for the uninitiated as well, she devised a numbering system for each appellation. The whole team is dedicated and working tirelessly to build the Monlot range.

Soils: Sandy-loam
Vinification: In temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks
Aging: 12 months, 70% in tanks, 30% in French oak barrels (10% new oak)

Tasting Notes
A pretty ruby color. A nice density on the nose as on the palate. We find red fruit notes and round tannins, which balance a velvety texture with excellent flavor concentration.
