Terroir: Very red soil, rich in iron oxides upon a layer of calcareous rock

Vinification
Destemming and crushing of the grapes, thermo-controlled alcoholic fermentation with skin contact. Pressing and malolactic fermentation. Aging for about six months.

Tasting Notes
Ruby red color with purple highlights. Intense and fruity bouquet, with notes of cherry and plum, spicy with hints of tobacco and leather. Soft palate, complex, and long finish.
