This elegant and tonic wine has a seductive nose revealing notes of fresh red fruits. With its lively and spicy red fruit aromas, this wine excites by smell alone. A round mouth, gourmet and ample. Its subtle balance allows approachability in its youth, straddling the line between richness and freshness.

[...] It opens to inviting aromas of raspberries and red berries which are woven together with herbs, licorice, iron and lavender nuances. On the palate this medium-bodied, red is round and silky with outstanding overall balance and finesse. It displays excellent focus and precision with notable length on the finish. Classy and sophisticated, this beautifully made wine will age remarkably well.

This full-bodied Chateauneuf has the power and tannic structure we expect of this appellation, but also bright red fruit with just a hint of something exotic. Then comes plenty of licorice and spice at the long, moderately dry finish. A cuvee of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre. Drink or hold.
