Vintage Notes
Our 2019 growing season began with ample rainfall and lingering soil moisture. A warm, extended summer saw very few extreme heat events, with foggy mornings setting the stage for vibrant and expressive wines. The season's long, relatively mild finish helped preserve freshness and balance in the fruit with hang time, allowing for impressive color, structure, and tannins. This is an exceptional vintage defined by well-integrated acidity, dense texture, and great depth.

Our Napa Valley Merlot is a complex blend of several vineyards, incorporating fruit from our estate vineyards. We select our fruit from a melange of vineyards in the valley to ensure fruit complexity and a vibrant lift of acidity. The final wine is a unique expression of the entire Napa Valley.
