7% whole cluster was used during fermentation which gives the 2021 Eola-Amity Pinot Noir from David Paige some added structure and spiciness. A light ruby-blue core with a slightly red rim shines beautifully in the glass. Spiced cherries, mountain blueberries, sweet thyme, and damp earth notes pounce on the nose while the palate brings shades of tangerine oil and hibiscus tea. Tannins are already integrated and silky smooth. Drink now or over the next 6 years.

A medium-bodied, crunchy and succulent pinot with plenty of white pepper and crushed stone character on the center palate. Forest berries, red currants, stones and herbs dominate the nose. Dense yet agile with a pleasant finish. Drink or hold.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills lifts from the glass with a rich blend of crushed raspberries, sage and cinnamon spice. Silky to the core, this soothes with its fresh acidity as ripe red and blue fruits swirl throughout. It leaves sweet lavender tones to linger, tapering off with medium length and a gentle tannic crunch.

A deft hand produced a light and lively Pinot Noir filled with aromas of dark raspberries, white chocolate and a touch of cardamom spice. Strawberry and orange zest flavors feel right at home with the wine's brilliant acidity and fresh, clean mouthfeel.

Lush with pure ripe fruit, the 2021 Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills pours a bright deep red and offers up notes of raspberry liqueur, toasted cedar, and forest herbs. Approachable and medium to full-bodied, it coats the palate with silky red fruit, sweet tannins, and a lovely accent of iron-rich earth on the finish. It is attractive and charming now and will drink well over the next few years.

7% whole cluster. Matured for 10 months in French oak, 25% new. LIVE certified.
Tasted blind. Pale ruby in colour. Black plums, sticky black cherries, spice and rich, earthy potting soil. Elevated acidity and lightly sandy tannin. Well balanced. (SCJ)
