Background
The Palmer Champagne house in Reims is one of the newest houses in Champagne - at only 75 years old, it is young enough to still innovate but old enough to have a respected heritage. It was founded by seven passionate grower families, obsessed with producing top-quality, legendary Champagne, with a clear vision to create a Grande Marque. Palmer has holdings of over 500 acres of vineyards in the Montagne de Reims sub-region of Champagne, all of which are Premier or Grand Cru vineyards. With its labyrinthine chalk cellars, deep beneath the streets of Reims, and its wines that spend an extended amount of time on their lees, it's little wonder why Champagne Palmer cuvees have such orchestral flavors. These flavors are always harmonious and balanced. Champagne Palmer is strongly committed to sustainable winegrowing, focusing on soil and vine nutrition, soil maintenance, vine treatment, and sustainable vineyard protection.

Viticulture
This Champagne of distinctive character is crafted from a selection of the most prestigious terroirs in Champagne. The Premier and Grand Crus from the Montagne de Reims predominate, leaving their distinctive marks.

Vinfication
This rose Solera represents a unique vinification, using Solera of Pinot Noir, started 40 years ago and kept in stainless steel tanks as a perpetual reserve.

Tasting Notes: The NV Champagne Solera Rose displays a bright, pale salmon color. This is by far the most chalky and structured of the wines, and it’s perhaps the most interesting from a gastronomic perspective, possibly my favorite wine in the range. [...]. Medium-bodied, it has a chiseled, chalky structure with pleasing salinity. It features fruitiness and delicate spices, with hints of mango, grapefruit pith, floral perfume, and raspberries. Tasting Notes: This flavorful rose Champagne has aromas of cherries, grapefruit and hints of aniseed, gingerbread and salted almonds. It’s medium-bodied with attractive salty and spicy undertones and soft bubbles. Lovely complexity. Drink now.

Tasting Notes: The NV Brut Rose Solera blends 48% Chardonnay, 37% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier, with its color deriving from a 7% addition of red wine kept in solera. Tasting Notes: With citrus hints, wild berries and toasted bread, the palate offers freshness and linearity, a balanced assemblage, great bubbles and good tension. Bright clementine notes and a delicate, frothy mousse lead to an uplifting finish.
