Production
Blend: Sangiovese (known locally as Prugnolo Gentile), other traditional grapes of the region
Vinification: 15-25 days of fermentation and maceration at a controlled temperature of 26-30 degrees C in steel tanks. Intense pump-overs and delestage in the first few days, which become shorter and softer towards the end. Continuous tastings establish the moment of racking. After scheduled decanting, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in steel tanks.
Aging: At least 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels of various capacities and essences. A variable percentage of the mass, depending on the vintage, is aged in French oak barriques. Refined in bottle before release

Tasting Notes
Intense color of rare depth and finesse. Its aromas and taste are magnificently elegant and powerful at the same time, with notes of red fruit, cherry, blackberry, currant, and raspberry, and well-integrated spicy notes. On the palate, it is full, round, and generous, with excellent tannins.

Tasting Notes: A wine of great smoothness and oxidative, undiluted blackness: here, the fruity notes certainly reveal a remarkable skininess in their dense thickness, but when inhaled deeply, due to their primary and secondary density, due to the pulp of their fruit and the wonderful vanilla note from the oak in which they arrive wrapped, they reveal themselves not at all reluctant to unfold their deep, soft fruitiness, ample and rounded. Blackberry, currant, and black cherry, perfectly ripe, with an essentially persuasive power and spice. A wine of highly qualifying viticultural power and oenological clarity. The lymphatic glow of the aroma is particularly splendid, full of its aromatic, intact, expressive power. A great fruit wine, with a chromatic and aromatic intensity of rare oxidative novelty. Among the best Nobiles of the year, chapeau.
