Vinification
The Condrieu is vinified in accordance with tradition. Temperatures are controlled in tank. Grapes are manually harvested and sorted. Pressing, racking, clarification settling. Alcoholic fermentation in barrels without racking with batonnage. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.

Tasting Notes
Viognier produces a very dry, aromatic white wine with aromas of apricot, ripe fruit, and white flowers. An elegantly complex and warm Condrieu.

Aging Potential: Can be drunk young or matured for six years
Service Temperature: Serve at 10 degrees C
Food Pairing: Can be served chilled as an aperitif; accompanies foie gras, chicken with morels, white meat, or with cheese such as rigotte de Condrieu

Tasting Notes: Peach marmalade, orange zest, minty flowers, and spice notes, as well as a kiss of minerality emerge from the 2024 Condrieu Les Combeluz. It's medium-bodied and has a fresh, focused mouthfeel with beautifully integrated acidity. Clean, balanced, and vibrant, it has tons to love. Drink this charming, impeccably made Condrieu over the coming 5-7 years. Drink 2026-2033.

Tasting Notes: Checking in at 13% alcohol, the 2024 Condrieu Les Combeluz starts out showing pronounced apricot, ripe peach, banana and dried honeysuckle. Canned pineapple adds more nuance. Full-bodied, concentrated and expressive, the 2024 is a worthy follow-up to the equally enticing 2023 I tasted last year. Checks out with feather-light precision on the subtly citric finish.

Tasting Notes: Butter, peach Melba, honey and ginger. There’s a pithy, phenolic bite to the palate that gives excellent shape and freshness. Long, textural palate. Relentless orchard fruit. Finishes with a touch of salinity, lending a savoury end to a very ripe style. (RH)
