Tasting Notes: The 2022 Pinot Noir Chehalem Mountains is a slightly deeper ruby color compared to the other wines in the range and has a bit more depth in its aromas of wild raspberries, wet stones, wildflowers, and piney herbs. It’s medium-bodied, although it has a relatively broader feel, with ripe tannins and its darker spices coming through elegantly on the finish. It’s appealing now, and it also has the potential to improve over the next 6-8 years.

Scents of crushed pomegranate, wild strawberry, fennel seed, and damp earth rise from the glass, giving way to layered flavors of marionberry and dried rose petals on the palate. Silky tannins weave seamlessly into the wine’s vibrant acidity, while subtle oak spice carries the finish.
