Amy Chenoweth grew up working in her family's vineyard management business, where she learned the ins and outs of growing top-quality grapes. Melding experience with formal training from UC Davis's famed viticulture program, she now crafts small lots of premium Pinot Noir (among other styles). She sourced fruit for her 2018 Chenoweth Vineyards Pinot from the cool, foggy Green Valley of the Russian River Valley, showcasing an enticing wine with notes of red berries, dried rose, earth, and cedar. Our flagship wine is our Green Valley of the Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. This wine is made primarily from our three estate vineyards (Chenoweth Ranch, Treehouse, and Bootlegger's Hill).

Tasting Notes
The 2018 GV is bright and full of crunchy red fruit - like sour cherry and cranberry - on the nose. In the glass and on the tongue, the rich strawberry and cedar notes begin to emerge and are held up by firm tannins and bright acidity.

Tasting Notes: Subtly complex in flavor and sleek in texture, this is a super versatile wine for sipping alone or pairing with lunch or dinner. Lightly gripping tannins support fresh cherries, rhubarb and orange-pekoe tea flavors that persist nicely on the finish. Best through 2029.
