Founded in 2010, Chenoweth Wines is a small, family-owned winery with deep roots in the rugged, fertile West Sonoma County - a utopia for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. For over 20 years, the Chenoweth family has farmed some of the most coveted grapes in Sonoma County on the land that has been in their family since the mid-1800's. Leading the small family wine business is Amy Chenoweth, a sassy matriarch who helps her husband, Charlie, run their successful farm management business. Today, they create small-lot, estate-driven wines from their exceptional, high-elevation Russian River Valley vineyard sites.

Vintage Notes
The 2019 vintage was one of quality; crop, overall weather, and rainfall. The weather was moderate, with an early spring and a perfect summer.

Tasting Notes
Our 2019 Green Valley Pinot Noir shows great forward fruit with deep aromas of dark raspberries, brambles, and allspice. The red and black fruit with bright acidity and mild tannins balance the long, lingering finish.

Tasting Notes: The 2019 Pinot Noir Green Valley Of The Russian River Valley is a ripe ruby color and displays a classic aromatic profile that’s fresh with ripe cherry, cinnamon, ripe roses, and fresh spice. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a clean finish, it will drink well over the next 10 years. Drink 2024-2034.

Tasting Notes: This generous, friendly and nicely complex wine features strawberries, red cherries, cinnamon and balsam flavors that make a soothing melange on a rather full body that glides on soft tannins.

Tasting Notes: Ripe cherries, hibiscus flowers, ground spices and hints of cedar on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied, sleek and polished with some chalkiness to the tannins and vivid acidity. Flavorful and juicy. Drink now.

Tasting Notes: Mulled raspberry and cherry fruit still shows energy in this late-release version, with a modest zip of dried anise and savory on the gently toasted finish. Time's a wastin', though. Drink now. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.
