The Vineyard
The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of three vineyards with distinct characteristics. The Gwinlann Jones vineyard on the Silverado bench brings structure and strength, while the Pettigrew vineyard in Coombsville adds a rowdy character and bright aromatics. The Darms Vineyard in Oak Knoll adds lift and brightness to the blend, with the approachable nature of the district's rich soils and softer spirit.

In The Cellar
After a long, even growing season, fruit was brought to the cellar in early October. Whole berries were cold-soaked before fermentation. After a period of daily punchdowns, the must was pressed and fermentation finished in barrel. The wine spent 22 months in Bordelaise French oak barrels, 20% new.

Tasting Notes from Winemaker Jay Nunez
Concentrated flavors of blackberry and black currant, with a hint of blueberry. Full-bodied, with a velvety texture, balanced acidity, and well-integrated tannins, it offers both elegance and aging potential.

Philosophy
Family-owned vineyards. Indigenous yeast fermentation. No fining or filtering. No additives aside from minimal sulfur. Carbon-conscious packaging. Vegan friendly.

Tasting Notes: Dark-fruited and aromatic, with aromas of blackberries, cassis, plums, cedar and spices. The palate is full-bodied with firm yet polished tannins and balanced acidity, giving flavors of dark cherries, cocoa and tobacco. Nicely constructed with plenty to like. Drink or hold.
