Background
Firefly Vineyards is a small family-run producer with an estate vineyard in Coombsville. Their winemaker, Anthony Beckman, has experience at Peay, Hudson, and Balletto Vineyards. These wines were originally made primarily for the export market, as the owners are dual-citizenship Chinese Americans with extensive business interests in China. The owner passed away a few years ago.

Description
Sometimes we judge a wine by its label, and, at first glance, this doesn't exactly shout "ultra high-quality juice inside," but one sniff gives a hint about the well-crafted contents - layers of violets, sweet red cherry, and toasty spices. And then the first sip had our attention.
