  • 2018 was a particularly successful vintage in Northern California. Early rains provided much-needed water, and a cool autumn allowed for prolonged ripening, resulting in excellent-quality fruit in larger yields than 2017. The 2018 wines have lived up to their aging potential!

Vintage
This near-perfect growing season began in late February. Our spring weather was mild, allowing for extended flowering that produced very uniform grape clusters. Temperatures throughout Napa remained steady and warm throughout most of summer and fall, without any heat spikes, making for a long, unhurried harvest. The resulting wines are incredibly smooth and polished, with magnificent texture and color.
