Winemaker's Note
This 100% varietal bottling showcases some of the premier growing sites for Cabernet Sauvignon on the hillside. Sourcing from 13 individual vineyard blocks, all within the AVA boundaries, gives us lots of vine ages, slopes, soils, and unique expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon to work with. We have difficulty explaining, but this Cabernet has that classic Red Mountain style. Great structure and concentration with a polished tannin finish. The aroma is full of fresh red fruits, cherry, raspberry, and vanilla bean. The palate is full and plush with black cherry, currant, and plum. Enjoy this wine right away, with a good 30+ minute decant, or through 2035.

Tasting Notes: The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain wafts up with floral freshness, as nuances of stone dust, sweet lavender, rose and white pepper fill the senses. It glides across the palate with silken textures and ripe red and black fruits, as firming tannins take hold toward the close. The senses are left caked with tension, as a concentration of primary fruit saturates, partially offset by a citrus twang.
