This wine is produced in the southern area of the Montalcino appellation, between Sant'Angelo in Colle and Castelnuovo dell'Abate. This area is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious and well-suited zones for the production of Brunello di Montalcino. The vineyards are protected from the cold northern winds while benefiting from the warm air currents rising from the Maremma, moderated by the nearby Mount Amiata. These unique conditions create a particularly mild microclimate, ideal for the cultivation and ripening of Sangiovese.

Region: Tuscany, Montalcino, Siena
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese Grosso
Vinification: Aged in Slovenian oak barrels for 36 months, 12 months in stainless steel containers, and refined in bottles for 4 months
Alcohol: 14.50%

Tasting Notes
Color: Ruby red with garnet hints with aging
Bouquet: Intense, elegant, rich in aromas; mellow red fruit, spicy notes of licorice, and tobacco
Taste: Dry, warm with velvet tannins, balanced, persistent, and elegant

Enjoyment
Serving Temperature: 18-20 degrees C; decant for one hour to breathe before drinking
Food Pairing: Roasts, grilled meats, wild game, and elaborate dishes, as well as rare T-bone steaks. It can also be served alone, as a "meditation" wine.

Tasting Notes: This has a chocolaty, lightly earthy nose of red and dark berries with hints of ground spices and bark. The tannins are firm yet well integrated and not chewy. It’s structured and broad on the palate, with a medium to full body and a fleshy core of ripe fruit. Lingering and focused. Try from 2028.
