2022 Barolo DOCG

Vinification
The harvest of the grapes, 100% Nebbiolo, is followed by a careful selection of the grapes by hand on the cellar tables. Destemming, pressing, and fermentation, which takes place at a controlled temperature between 25 and 30 degrees C for approximately three weeks. The wine is aged for 38 months - 18 in wood which enriches the wine with refined and evolutionary notes, along with other nuances from the terroir.

Tasting Notes
Intense red garnet color. Rich and full bouquet with plums, red fruits, and jam hints. Aromas and smells that recall woods, eucalyptus, tobacco, and leather. In the mouth, the sweet tannic flavor is very clear and persistent, with balsamic and toasted hints in the finish.

Serving Temperature
16 to 18 degrees C

Food Pairing
Ideal with red meat and game. Excellent with fillet with truffle.

Tasting Notes: A very floral and clean Barolo with aromas of dried violets, dried cherries, prunes and balsamic. Medium- to full-bodied with firm, dusty yet ripe tannins and a refreshing and austere palate. Dried flower aftertaste. It shows both balance and aging potential. Drink or hold.
