Winemaking Notes
Traditionally vinified. After two weeks of natural spontaneous fermentation, the wine is racked into 30hl and 54hl French oak barrels, where it aged for 38 months. Refined in bottle for a minimum of six months.

Tasting Notes
Ruby red in the glass, deep and intense. The nose opens with floral hints of violet, then enriched by fruity notes of plum. The palate is juicy, full, rich, and warm, with a velvety finish and fine, blunt tannins.

Tasting Notes: Pouring a medium red-orange color, the 2021 Brunello Di Montalcino is attractive with a rosy perfume as well as notes of tangerine, redcurrants, and minty fresh herbs. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegant and a touch understated, with fine tannins and even acidity. It’s an attractive wine to enjoy now or over the next 5-7 years. Drink 2026-2033.

Tasting Notes: The 2021 Brunello di Montalcino blends nuances of cola and mint with crushed blackberries. Broad and pliant, it splashes across the palate with ripe wild berry fruits energized by juicy acidity. It is gently tannic and displays admirable length as a gentle citrus tinge lingers.

Tasting Notes: One of two estates in Montalcino owned by Argentinian business mogul Alejandro Bulgheroni, Poggio Landi draws on its higher altitude vineyards throughout the region to fashion its Brunello. The 2021 is a perfumed specimen with sweet herbs laced through blackberry and strawberry. Clean, straightforward and full, it features a smooth mouthfeel. Glossy, slightly macerated summer berries are offset by sweet, bright acidity. Hints of liquorice and sun-baked earth add dimension, all held together by sandy tannins.

Tasting Notes: Mid ruby with the beginning of orange tinges. Leafy, deep cherry fruit nose that is not fully open yet and with a hint of what seems like oak. Lots of juice and coating tannins. Straightforward.
