2025 AOC Sancerre

The History
The Fleuriet family has been winegrowers for several generations. Their vineyard consists of 12 hectares, mostly situated at the heart of the vineyards of Sancerre. Father and son carry out the work in the vineyards, the whole winemaking process, and the packaging of their Sancerre wines (AOC), which come exclusively from their wine-producing estate. The Fleuriet family built the cellars of the domain entirely throughout generations. One of the cellars dates back to 1735.

Viticulture / Winemaking
The grapes are harvested fully ripened and immediately pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine is clarified in a cold room for 5 or 6 days.

The Terroir
One part of the vines is planted on the clayey-calcareous hills, where some slopes can be as steep as a 40% incline. The other part is planted on the calcareous stone plateaux called "caillottes".

Color: Clear and bright pale golden color
Nose: Fresh aromas of fruit
Palate: In the mouth, this wine is fresh, dry, and fruity.
Food Pairing: This wine is perfect just before lunch and with starters like puff pastry or cheese dishes.
