Vineyard Notes
On the northeastern hills just beyond Howell Mountain lies the Eakle Family Ranch estate vineyard, meticulously tended by fifth-generation Eakle family farmers. Rooted in the mineral-rich Bressa-Dibble soils, the vines ripen slowly under warm days and cool evenings, developing remarkable depth and purity. Pope Valley's pristine landscape and deep agricultural heritage make it an ideal setting for both time-honored and sustainable farming and winemaking traditions.

Winemaking Notes
A blend of select parcels from our estate vineyards alongside small, carefully chosen sites across Napa Valley, this wine reflects the breadth and nuance of the region. Each lot was meticulously hand-harvested and sorted before being gently crushed into tank. Fermentation lasted for 10 to 14 days, and the wines were pressed just before dryness to preserve their silky, supple texture. Early blending followed by 24 months of barrel aging has allowed the wine to evolve with grace, retaining its vibrant, supple red-fruit character and the layered forest-fruit notes that define its profile.

Tasting Notes: Nervy aromas of candied raspberry, currant, licorice, and purple flowers swirl on the nose of this Cabernet. The palate features moderate tannic structure and lively acid framing flavors of baked plum, dark chocolate, caramel, and violets across a velvety finish.
