Accordingly, he was ever eager to embrace the next challenge. It stands to reason, then, that a desire to breach boundaries is woven into the fabric of the next generation of Parkers. Addendum represents that next frontier to be tamed, a continuation of the adventure.

Tasting Notes: Brawny and powerful, this full-bodied wine aged in 83% new French oak barrels wraps firm tannins around red and black cherries, black currants and oak spices like cinnamon, wood char and cedar. It is big, mouth-filling and in no hurry to be consumed. Best from 2027-2037.

Tasting Notes: Lots of spiced red (and some black) fruits as well as notes of new leather and spring flowers emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon The Hills Block 6, another medium to full-bodied, elegant Cabernet from this team offering quality tannins, good overall balance, and plenty of length on the finish.

Tasting Notes: The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon The Hills Block 6, from Round Pond, is another classy, elegant wine in this range. Dark fruit, mocha, leather, licorice and earthy notes infuse the 2019 with considerable character. The 2019 is a fine effort, and yet I feel there is even more potential to be realized here.
