Winemaking Process
2-day cold soak for aqueous fruit extraction, aeration, and cap management with pulsair device. After a 12-day ferment, the wine is drained and pressed to a settling tank. Another 2-week settle, then racked into barrels to age for 20 months.

Winemaker Notes
This wine is crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petit Verdot grapes grown on steep, northern-exposed hillsides in the Rockpile region of Sonoma County. At an elevation of 1,100 ft, this region overlooks serene Lake Sonoma. On the nose, beautiful aromas of black cherry and currants burst from the glass. Flavors of blackberry and mocha with rich tannins invigorate your palate, followed by a vanilla and spice finish. Pair with barbecued ribeye, pasta amatriciana, or paella.
