Production
The lighter of our two Zinfandels, this wine, from head-trained Costa Magna clone vines, was fermented in small open-top vessels and then aged for 10 months in barrel, 20% of which was new American oak from the Appalachian Mountains. This pairing adds spice and brings out the fruit flavors.

Tasting Notes
Red raspberry, vanilla, and baking spice fill out this medium-bodied red. Soft and elegant for Zin, but still packs in the flavor. Hearty enough to stand up to full-flavored foods. Finishes dry.
